About Jon Norris
Jon Norris (b. 1995) is an American photographer based in Rockville, Maryland. He studied creative documentary in Paris, France with the famed Magnum Photos and Spéos Photo Institute, graduating from their Masters program with a Titre de Photographe RNCP level 1.
Through a mix of evocative colors and dramatic black and white images, Jon’s work moves fluidly across the photographic genre, varying between cinematic, documentary, and abstract. Refusing to conform to one style, Jon’s photos bridge the gap between photojournalism and photography as a medium for expression and creativity.
Jon’s work has been featured by Magnum Photos, Entrepreneur Magazine, Science Advances Magazine (AAAS), Leica Cameras, Eye Shot Magazine, APF Magazine, ND Magazine, Destin Asia Media Group, Vulkan Magazine, AFI Film Festival, Stop Motion DC, & Bethesda Magazine.
